The ROLLUP is used to transport injured people from exposed areas. It has been designed for the special requirements of high-altitude rescue. The rescue stretcher is delivered rolled up in a backpack (30 x 90 cm). It is then unpacked and "rolled out" at the site. Thanks to its construction and robust plastic shell, it holds its shape perfectly and can bear up to 300 kg. The ROLLUP can also be used in very tight spaces, as it is hardly taller than the patient!
It has 3 cross-mounted struts, so there is no pressure on the chest, hips or legs. It is just as stable as a rigid basket stretcher. A strut is attached lengthwise to protect the spine, so that the patient can also be pulled over edges or uneven surfaces. The underside of the stretcher remains free of straps and has a smooth surface! The head is protected by the bow of the plastic plate. The feet sit on a robust plastic plate, so the patient cannot slip. The head and foot plates can be adjusted with the straps to position the patient in the best possible way.
The ROLLUP has 4 patient straps that can be closed and adjusted with COBRA buckles. There are 4 carrying handles on each side of the stretcher. The ROLLUP is supplied as standard with a rigid 6-point sling with rings and a central carabiner. The adjustable BALANCE sling can also be supplied on request. This allows the stretcher to be adjusted in inclination and adapted to the local terrain.
