The I'D® self-braking descender is mainly intended for working at heights and for areas that are difficult to access. I'D® has an ergonomically shaped lever that makes it easy to control the abseiling process. The integrated anti-panic function and the safety lock reduce the risk of accidents in the event of an operating error. The AUTO-LOCK system allows the user to position themselves at the workstation without having to operate the lever and untie the device. After blocking, rope can be pulled in without operating the lever. The safety clip makes it possible to leave the device hooked to the harness when the rope is inserted.

The I'D® descender allows the handling of loads up to 250 kg. This application is reserved for experienced users, see the user manual for the device. The I'D s descender may be used with a rope diameter of 12 mm in accordance with EN 1891 for rope-assisted activities in accordance with the requirements of EN 12841 2006 Type C.
