The FAVORIT ABS 3a W and FAVORIT ABS 3a WH are the ideal partners for self-rescue or for evacuation measures of people one after the other and for training measures.

The FAVORIT ABS 3a W has been developed for abseiling rescue measures of 1 person. It abseils at a constant speed of max. 1.5m/s, without user activation. It can also be used in pendulum operation (two-way abseiling). Thanks to the centrifugal force-controlled brake, the device keeps the speed constant during the entire abseiling process, thus enabling fast and safe rescue during evacuation measures using the pendulum abseiling method. The abseiling speed can also be influenced on the counter-rotating rope with the help of the deflection points on the device.

The FAVORIT ABS 3a WH also has an integrated lifting function with a switchable backstop, making it the ideal partner for the passive rescue of people hanging in personal fall protection systems. In passive rescue, the rescuer operates the device in a secure standing position. With the rescue lifting device in conjunction with the WKF rope sheave, the injured person is lifted gently on the rope. The switched on backstop automatically prevents the injured person from sinking back into the original situation during the lifting organ. After the lifting process, the rescuer unhooks the fall arrest system to which the injured person is hanging, switches the backstop to freewheel mode and begins the abseiling process.
