The wire rope slings, otherwise named slings, are a versatile and safe product, they are used for lifting, tensioning and anchoring loads. Thanks to the wide choice of terminals with which they can be manufactured, the wire rope slings are certainly the most used equipment for lifting operations in general.
General Information
The terminal, generally, consists of soft eye both ends or thimbles both ends, and accessories inserted inside the same.
The soft eye both ends can be produced in the following forms:
Swaged: by cylindrical or truncated-conical light ferrule
Spliced: soft eye with hand spliced wire rope strands
Superloop: with woven of soft eye and truncated-conical steel ferrules
In other cases, the slings can be supplied with standard or design terminals, pressed or applied on spelter sockets.
